Gothic and a little theatrical, this skull in hand backflow burner shows a skull cradled by a sculpted hand, with flame-like shapes climbing up behind it. Rest a lit backflow cone on the crown of the skull and the smoke spills out of the openings, rolling down to collect in the dish at the base.
The glossy blue-green glaze deepens to darker tones towards the bottom, so it looks striking on a dark shelf, a gothic altar or a Halloween display, and makes an unusual gift for lovers of the macabre.
