Description
Made by hand in India, this dark blue brass incense jar is patterned in gold and set aside for the Throat chakra, or Vishuddha. It is designed for resin and charcoal tablets, which sit on a removable grate above the container.
As the charcoal burns down, the ash falls through into the jar rather than onto the surface. Traditionally it is used in rituals to purify or activate the Throat chakra, and it suits a small altar or meditation shelf.
