Extra Large Cast Iron Cauldron with Pentagram - 15x15cm

For anyone who has outgrown the little altar pots, here is an extra large cast iron cauldron measuring 15x15cm. A bold pentagram is raised on the front, three sturdy legs hold it up, and a fitted lid and metal carry handle finish it off.

What you receive

• Includes: Fitted lid and metal carry handle

There is room inside for several pieces of incense at once, or for mixing herbs, and it works with charcoal discs and resins too. The pentagram is commonly associated with the balance of the elements, and the finish may gain a patina over time, as cast iron does.

The specifics

Size: 15 x 15 cm
Material: Cast iron
Design: Pentagram
Base: Three legs

In brief

• Heavier and more substantial than smaller cauldrons
• Lid helps contain heat and smoke indoors
• Bold enough to display on its own

How it is used

Light a charcoal tablet with tongs and let it settle into the container until it glows and turns grey at the edges, then sprinkle a little resin or loose incense on top.

Safety

• Cast iron gets very hot in use: always stand the cauldron on a heat-resistant surface and handle it with care.
• Never leave anything burning unattended, and keep it away from children, pets and anything flammable.
• Use in a well-ventilated room, and let the cauldron cool completely before touching, moving or emptying it.
