Smoke spills downward like a slow waterfall from this backflow incense burner, sculpted as a hand raising an open lotus bloom. It is made from black ceramic; set a burning backflow cone on the flower and the smoke drifts down over the fingers and around the wrist.
The lotus has long appeared in Buddhist and Hindu art as a symbol of purity and new beginnings, so this burner feels at home in a meditation corner, a yoga space or on a calm bedroom shelf.
