The large bowl is the generous one in the molten glass family, with room for a proper arrangement of cut flowers or a cluster of air plants. Recycled glass is blown by hand in Bali and, while it is still hot, eased over a section of Gamal root so that it hardens to the form of the wood beneath.
It makes a natural centrepiece for a dining table or a wide windowsill. Because the wood decides the shape of the glass, the one that arrives is unlike any other.
