Description

A ceramic skull with a weathered, aged finish and plenty of realistic detail. It works as a striking gothic ornament and an oil burner in one: remove the lid, light a tealight and warm fragrance oil or a wax melt in the dish.

What to use with it

Takes: One standard tealight
Use with: Wax melts or diluted fragrance oil

At 15cm tall it has real presence on a mantelpiece or bookshelf, and it stays just as fitting long after Halloween is over.

Design notes

  • Detailed ceramic skull with a weathered finish
  • Removable lid
  • A gothic ornament all year round

The specifics

  • Size: H15 x W12.5 x D14.5 cm
  • Weight: 0.76 kg
  • Material: Ceramic

Getting started

Lift off the lid. Place one standard tealight inside. Add water with a few drops of fragrance oil to the dish, or place a wax melt in the dry dish, then light the tealight. If you are using oil, top up the water before it runs dry.

Safety first

  • Use one standard tealight only.
  • Always remove the lid before lighting, and keep it off while the burner is in use.
  • Place on a stable, heat-resistant surface.
  • Never leave a lit burner unattended, and keep it away from children, pets, curtains and anything flammable.
  • Never add water to wax melts, and do not move the burner while the wax is liquid.
  • Do not let the dish boil dry.
  • Let the burner cool completely before moving, cleaning or refilling it.
