Wooden Birthday Numbers - No.4

Albesia wood, a fast-growing timber prized for its grain, is what this number 4 birthday candle holder is cut from. It is made by hand in Bali and given a hand-rubbed white-wash finish that leaves it soft and pale.

At around 10cm high the number is big enough to be a centrepiece on a shelf or beside the cake. It comes as one figure on its own, ready for a fourth birthday or to sit next to another number for a milestone year.
